How can I check my giving totals?

Checking your giving history is easy right from our home page. You do need a login to view this information.

How can I change my address?

How can I set up a monthly automatic donation?

We process monthly automatic giving on the 5th, 10th and 20th of each month. Choose your giving date by visiting our recurring giving site.

How can I change my automatic giving selections (EFT/Debit/Credit card info or gift amount) for my monthly gift?

You can make changes to your automatic monthly giving by visiting the Donation Update page or contact Jeanette Patterson at 803.807.5095 or jeanette.patterson@ciu.edu 

Do you accept matching gifts?

Absolutely! Check with your employer to see what their process is for submitting requests for matching gift funds to non-profits.

How can I help a student?

PRAY: given that CIU was established through the prayers of a small group of praying ladies, we know there is power in prayer. Pray for our students academically, spiritually, socially, culturally, for health - anyway in which the Lord guides you.

GIVE: to find ways to meet physical needs of our students visit our pages on CIU Fund, Scholarships, Planned Giving or Projects. 

How can I give to a scholarship?

Giving to an already established scholarship is easy. Visit our giving page and when prompted select “I would like to choose from a list of areas to support.” Choose “Scholarships” and locate the scholarship in the alphabetical drop down. Continue on with required giving information.

How can I set up a scholarship?

Visit our scholarship page to learn about the variety of scholarship opportunities we have. Our scholarship representative will be happy to discuss the options in more detail when you are ready.

How much do I need to set up a scholarship?

The minimum dollar amount to begin a scholarship varies depending on the short-term or long-term impact you want it to have. Some require a large lump sum up front, where as others can begin with much less and grow over a long period of time. One of the most important aspects of establishing a successful scholarship is the commitment to funding it, whether it be all at once or over several years.

How do I give a stock gift or wire transfer?

What is Planned Giving?

Planned giving includes giving strategies that offer benefits for the present as well as the future.  This area also incorporates planned and deferred giving. Some of the common methods involved in planned giving are annuities, trusts, wills and naming beneficiaries. Connect with us here to find out more.

How can an annuity or trust help me?

Annuities and Trusts can provide you with a regular return on your gift to CIU. Minimum investments and return rates vary so please visit our planned giving site to learn more.

Who should I notify if I’ve named CIU in my will?

We would be honored and humbled to know if you have named CIU in your will. Please let us know by using this form.

Who should I notify if I’ve named CIU as a beneficiary?

What a blessing to know you have thought enough of CIU to name us as beneficiary on an insurance policy or retirement account. Please let us know by using this form.

What is CIU’s fiscal year?

CIU’s fiscal year runs from July 1 to June 30. A fiscal year is the 12 month period that marks when an organization opens and closes their financial books. This can vary from organization to organization.
